In Tableau desktop you can visualise the geographical distribution of data by using maps. The background of those maps can be changed, using the default options or by using a custom Mapbox.

When creating a dashboard, you don't always want to show all of your information. In most cases, you select a subset of your data and will show that to focus on a certain area. But what if you want to know how big that part is from the total of your data or category?
